Workshop on Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA) Invasive Species

Finger Lakes PRISM's Terrestrial Invasive Species Team is offering a hands-on workshop focused on the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA). They are seeking volunteers to assist with detection and reporting of infestations strengthens our defense against further hemlock loss. The workshop will guide volunteers through identification of HWA, where to locate it, and how to report it. If this sounds interesting to you, you can register online for a hands-on workshop on February 3 at 9am at the Great Swamp Conservancy in Canastota, a Zoom training on February 6 at 6pm, or a presentation on February 12 at 6:30pm at Cazenovia Public Library.
